Volunteering Tasks:
– Helping on the sorting out of the materials to be provided to the people in need with the staff of Cruz Roja ( Red Cross )
– Implementing workshops for the elderly population
– Implementing workshops for the young people
– Providing assistance and help to the staff of Cruz Roja during the implementation of the activities
– Cooperation and preparation in activities for retirees with the Red Cross
– Involving in Spanish classes provided in the local area
– Involving in English speaking clubs and engaging in the activities of Edificio Joven
You will work in Edificio Joven ( https://www.facebook.com/edificiojoven/ ) daily basis or in the organisations that we cooperate and your main work will be involving in their activities or helping the activities of our association. We expect volunteers that would initiate new activities to promote volunteering and active citizenship among our local youth, thus we welcome any ideas which we will talk during the selection process. Thus,for long term volunteers, if the volunteers bring their computers, it would be great as we are not position to provide computer to you during your stay for online activities.
You will have 2,5 days free per month and work hours is going to be 08:00 – 14:00 ( which might change according to the activities ) every week day. If you work in weekends, you will have free day in the week days.
Holidays are subject to prior approval of the mentor/supervisor.
Accomodation & Food & Pocket Money:
You will share the house with 23 people and you will stay in 2 or 4 people rooms depending on the gender. For the food, the house has a huge kitchen with enough space and we will provide you 180 EUR for food expenses and 180 EUR for volunteer allowance ( in total 360 EURs for 30 days ) . You are responsible of your own cooking, keeping the place clean and in order.
Please consider the following before accepting the volunteering :
– You are ready to share the room with another people
– You are alright staying in bunk-bed
– You do not have any issues to share the room with other people from different nationalities
Requisiti: Aver raggiunto la maggiore età, essere interessati alle tematiche del progetto.
Lingua del progetto: Inglese (si richiede un livello basso-intermedio). Non sono richieste certificazioni linguistiche.
Condizioni economiche: Vitto e alloggio coperti al 100% dall’organizzazione ospitante. Il costo dei biglietti di viaggio sarà rimborsato da parte dell’organizzazione ospitante fino ad un massimo di 275€ a persona. (Le eventuali eccedenze sono a carico del partecipante).
